What kinds of events do you cover?

Most of them. School functions and summer fairs, corporate family days, community festivals, sports events, store openings and brand activations. We supply balloon art, face painting, character appearances, magic shows and party games, and for bigger events we go beyond that list to bouncy castles, inflatables and whatever else the day calls for. We work directly with organisers, schools and agencies across the city.

How long will I wait for a proposal?

Usually 1 to 2 hours during office hours. Send the form, we read the details properly and come back with something built for your event rather than a generic quote. Our office hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday.

How many entertainers do we need?

It depends on the number of children and how long they will be in front of you at once. As a rough guide, one face painter gets through around 12 children an hour, so a 200-child school fair needs a very different setup from a 30-child family day. Tell us the numbers in your request and we will put the right team in the proposal instead of making you work it out.

Can we combine different services at one event?

That is the normal shape for anything larger. Face painting and balloon art run continuously and keep queues moving, a magic show or a character appearance works as a scheduled centrepiece, party games fill the gaps, and an inflatable gives the children somewhere to burn off the rest of it. A proposal for a bigger event will usually stagger everything so there is always something running.

Are your entertainers insured and background-checked?

Yes, both. Every entertainer also completes Bazinga's own training programme. For school and corporate events we can supply the relevant documentation with the proposal if your venue or organisation needs it on file.

How far in advance should we book an event?

7 days is the shortest notice we can work with, and that is a floor rather than a recommendation. Events need more people, more coordination and often equipment we have to bring in, and the busy weekends go first. Send your date over as soon as you have it, even if nothing else is settled, and we will tell you honestly what is still available.

Do your entertainers work in Dutch and English?

Both. Our Amsterdam entertainers run events in Dutch or English, and switch between them where a room needs it, which is most international school events and most corporate family days in this city. Tell us what your audience speaks and we will staff it accordingly.
