Book a Talented Balloon Artist in Amsterdam

3 to 4 weeks is the sensible window, especially for a weekend in our busier months. For a weekday party or a quieter date, 1 to 2 weeks is usually plenty. That said, parties do not always get planned that far ahead, and we have twisted balloons at parties booked the same morning more than once. If you are cutting it fine, ask anyway — the worst we can say is no. The earlier you book, the better the pick of artists you get.

Around 12 to 15 an hour, depending on what gets requested. Swords, hearts and flowers go quickly; elaborate characters, animal hats and princess crowns take longer. Our minimum booking is 1 hour, whether you have 3 children or 12. For more than 12, book 1.5 hours or add 30 minutes for every additional 6 children. Send us your guest count and we will tell you exactly what you need.

Yes. We use 100% natural latex balloons only. If anyone at the party has a latex allergy, tell us when you book and we will bring a latex-free setup instead.

A bit of space, ideally indoors or on a terrace. That is the whole list. Your artist brings pumps, balloons, a design menu and everything else. The one thing to avoid is setting up on grass or in direct sun: grass pops latex balloons almost instantly, and hot sun makes them expand and burst. A shaded spot, a hallway or a front room works perfectly.

It is very rare, and it has happened only a handful of times. If illness or an emergency does come up, we pull in a replacement from the local team straight away. If we genuinely cannot cover the booking with reasonable notice, you get a full refund. Either way you hear from us immediately — we do not go quiet on you.

For most themes, yes. Superhero, princess, jungle, unicorn, mermaid, dinosaur and the like are all straightforward: tell us at booking and your artist leans into it with matching colours and designs, a red-and-blue sword, a pink unicorn, a green dinosaur. What we will not promise is a full character sculpture — that is beyond what any balloon artist can do at party pace — but we can almost always do something themed that lands. Tell us the theme and we will tell you honestly what works.

Yes, and it is one of the most popular setups. The Active Party pairs balloon art with face painting or party games, run by the same entertainer in one session. The Complete Party rolls all three into a single booking. One person running everything keeps the party moving, and it works out noticeably cheaper than booking each service separately.

It happens. A child squeezes too hard, somebody stands on a sword, a balloon catches a rough wall. Our artists always carry extras, and as long as we are still at the party we replace a popped balloon free of charge. It is also why we push for indoors on a smooth surface — fewer pops, and every child leaves with their creation intact.

It works from 2 upwards and honestly at any age — we have had teenagers and adults join the queue at weddings and brand events. For toddlers under 2, we would suggest larger bubble balloons or simple animals rather than small pieces, purely for safety. Our artists are good at reading a room and adjusting the designs to the ages in front of them.
